Service Descriptions
For each of the following services, we provide a customized agreement that details the concepts discussed with the client prior to creating the music. This helps us all to understand clearly what the work entails and to work more efficiently with each other. If added talent is required --- such as voiceover artists or singers --- cost of their services will be added to this cost, and will be clearly defined before any agreement is signed between the client
and Song Sparrow Music.
COMMISSION A SONG
The creation of a song uses lyrics and music to tell a story in three verses, three choruses and one bridge. We work for hire directly with our clients to plan the song's personality: whether it is a ballad or upbeat, we want you to be thrilled with your song. So we plan the overall character of the song together. Upon approval of the concept, song creation begins. It takes up to 3 months to create a song.
LICENSE MUSIC
Songs and Instrumentals in our catalogue may suit your film’s needs. These can be combined with other music you license. Each selection you make is considered a separate item. So, if you need a song and an instrumental, the price is $499 each.

COMMISSION A JINGLE
We work with our clients to create the Jingle that best promotes their business, organization or product. The Jingle requires one month to create after the initial planning session with the client. We then create the jingle and submit it to the client for approval. One set of changes are included in this plan and the client's approval finalizes the work.

We will provide a draft of the song for approval. If needed, we will make changes one time for your final approval.
You will receive a downloadable mp3 recording of the song we create for you, which you can use as you choose in perpetuity.
Cancellation & Refunds: This is a work-for-hire. After song creation begins, there are no refunds.

License one work from our Music Catalogue for use during one year, renewable each year thereafter. This is an annual plan, which will expire automatically on the 1-year anniversary, unless you renew. You may cancel this plan at the 1-year mark or sooner, but there are no refunds.
MORE DETAILS
The Jingle may be 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 60 seconds, 90 seconds long. Jingles are created so they can be edited for length without losing the message. It is best to choose a length you think will be best for your message. Typically, a 30 second or a 60 second Jingle is used for radio. If you plan to use the Jingle for Television, please let us know so we can coordinate the details with your videographer's imagery.
As a work-for-hire there are no cancellations or refunds.
